The Ibis hotel was a convenient choice for our gourmet getaway in Cologne. The compact room was clean and sufficient, ideal for short stays. The reception staff, especially the tall, young man with glasses, were notably helpful during our stay. We opted to start our day with the breakfast at the in-house restaurant, which offered a wide variety of choices without any rush. The kitchen staff were diligent and amiable, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.One highlight was the bar/lounge, where we had the opportunity to unwind and enjoy our favorite drinks in a relaxed ambiance. The 24-hour snack bar/deli was a lifesaver for late-night cravings. The self-parking option made exploring the city hassle-free.Additionally, the hotel's proximity to various dining options like Kamasutra Indian Restaurant, Tapas Bar La Barra, and MakiMaki Sushi Green enriched our culinary journey. Frau Maass offered a local touch that we appreciated.Although breakfast was an additional charge, the overall experience at Ibis was satisfactory and suited our needs perfectly.
